Experience a night of classical mastery featuring the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, conductor Philippe Jordan, and soloist Felipe Freitas at De Doelen.
A joyful explosion of life, Richard Strauss's Second Horn Concerto and Beethoven's Seventh Symphony move from perfect simplicity to blissful celebration. Strauss's late-career concerto, written for the same orchestral scale as Beethoven's Seventh, captures a similar spirit of refined beauty. The program also features Wagner's Overture to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg, conducted by Philippe Jordan with soloist Felipe Freitas.
