Manchester Collective: Black Gold
An underground classical crossover night.
The ensemble Manchester Collective conjures elemental soundscapes in works by Mombrea, Scott, and Tenney. The program features the London premiere of a new work by Sasha Scott and James Tenney's Glissade, with visual elements by Nate Mohler accompanying Luke Mombrea's Black Gold. A selection from Johann Sebastian Bach's Das Orgelbüchlein provides a moment of stillness at the heart of the performance.
