JJJJJerome Ellis is a Grenadian-Jamaican-American artist and musician who uses contemplative soundscapes involving saxophone, flute, dulcimer, electronics, and vocals to explore listening, generosity, and justice through stuttering. Fred Moten and Brandon Lopez make incendiary music for a burning world, combining Moten's conceptual spoken poetry and voice with Lopez's innovative double bass improvisation in an energetic duo. Part of the DURATIONS Festival, a week-long, multi-disciplinary exploration of sound and connection featuring music, talks, and audiovisual work.
