Random Strangers Jam: Funk / Rock Open Jam
A homegrown, underground hip hop night.
Bring your instrument and join a fully improvised psychedelic funk rock jam session led by Sky Demetri and his band. Musicians from the audience rotate in and out every few minutes to create fresh music on the spot. Basic backline instruments are provided on-site.

The session takes place on January 11, 2027 at Shrine, located at 2271 Adam Clayton Powell Jr Blvd in New York City.

The session is led by the house band with rotating guest musicians from the audience joining in.
Can I participate in the jam session?+
