An underground, nostalgic disco night.
A tribute to Japanese ongaku kissa culture, featuring transportive sets that weave disco in and out of genres from German new wave to Japanese city pop. Yokchi Chang, known as Typefunk, is a disco and funk selector originally from Ecuador, raised in Miami, and based in Salt Lake City. Known for founding the Nightfreq production company and his Social Disco Club party series, Chang brings an appreciation for high-fidelity sound and vintage audiophile gear inspired by a 2017 pilgrimage to Japan.
