Liturgy (solo)
An underground, gritty black metal night.
Liturgy performs a solo set blending transcendental black metal, math rock, and experimental textures. Tickets on Mood.
Liturgy is the project of Haela Ravenna Hunt-Hendrix, whose passionate and energetic transcendental black metal bridges the worlds of metal, art music, and sacred ritual. Founded as a solo project in Brooklyn in 2005, the group evolved into a quartet and gained global recognition for their 2011 album Aesthethica, which fused black metal with math rock. Over subsequent releases, including The Ark Work, H.A.Q.Q., and 93696, the project has continually incorporated diverse electronic textures and philosophical themes.
