Davadur and the Future Folk series present a collaboration between Cretan musician Yiangos Hairetis and electroacoustic composer Tasos Stamou. This project explores musical geographies where the archaic and the ultramodern coexist, delving into Cretan traditional music through the prism of futuristic electroacoustic soundscapes. Musique Con Crete is a live representation of their 2018 album, which blends traditional Cretan expression with post-technological hybrids. The performance features Hairetis on lute and vocals, and Stamou on electronic oscillators and live sound editing, deconstructing traditional forms into a contemporary sonic ritual.
