Clarinetist Evan Arntzen joins Leif and Miles Francis Arntzen for a night of multi-generational swing and improv at the Brooklyn club. Lineup on Mood.
The Arntzen family is a multi-generational musical clan with a deep love for traditional jazz. Inspired by legends like Louis Armstrong, Jelly Roll Morton, and Sidney Bechet, their performances showcase a legacy of swing and improvisation. While traditional jazz remains their core, the group occasionally explores a range of other styles, including folk ballads, bebop, and synth-pop. This performance features clarinetist Evan Arntzen, trumpeter Leif Arntzen, and multi-instrumentalist Miles Francis Arntzen, often joined by frequent collaborator Arnt Arntzen.
