The French-Georgian pianist brings her signature intensity back to The Auditorium for a spring recital featuring a broad classical repertoire. Tickets on Mood.
A regular at the Opéra de Bordeaux, Khatia Buniatishvili returns for a spring recital that promises to showcase her fiery temperament and unique musicality. Since her residency in 2023, the French-Georgian pianist has become a seasonal staple in Bordeaux, consistently performing to sold-out audiences. Often described as a "rock star" of classical piano, she is known for her dazzling stage presence and flawless technique. Her repertoire is vast, spanning from Bach and Piazzolla to the pop-rock sounds of Coldplay. Buniatishvili describes her stage performance as a total abandonment and a form of meditation through sound.
