Scapino Ballet presents La Mer at Nieuwe Luxor, blending Debussy with live orchestral performance and digital scenography. Tickets on Mood.
Scapino Ballet Rotterdam presents La Mer at Nieuwe Luxor, a large-scale multimedia dance production exploring the majesty and fragility of the oceans. The run features live music by the Rotterdams Philharmonisch Orkest alongside 16 vocalists from Laurens Collegium under the baton of conductor and performer Barbara Hannigan. Blending Claude Debussy's classic composition with modern sound design by Yannis Kyriakides, the staging pairs choreography with digital scenography and haute-couture costumes.
