Experience the ritualistic, genre-defying sound of David Eugene Edwards performing his latest work, Mercurial Silence. Tickets on Mood.
David Eugene Edwards is one of the most influential and uncompromising voices in modern American music. Emerging from the Denver underground with 16 Horsepower in the 1990s, Edwards forged a unique sound that fuses Gothic Americana, folk tradition, and spiritual fervor. His work with Wovenhand further expanded his reach, influencing artists across post-punk, neofolk, metal, and experimental genres. With his second solo album, Mercurial Silence, Edwards continues his thematic and sonic explorations. His live performances are known for being magnetic and ritualistic, drawing on ancient musical lineages and raw emotional power that transcends genre. For decades, he has served as a cultural bridge, shaping the dialogue between traditional folk and contemporary experimental sound.
