Rhona Macfarlane is a rising Scottish singer-songwriter known for her emotive voice and storytelling that casts a gentle spell. Her sound ranges from intimate guitar-led vocals to expansive arrangements with cinematic strings, creating worlds that are both vast and personal. Her music provides an atmosphere of tranquility and respite, inviting listeners into a space for reflection. Her debut album, As The Chaos Unfolds, co-produced with Matt Ingram, explores the coming-of-age experience and has received significant radio play across the UK, reaching the Top 40 Folk Charts. Hailing from the seaside town of Montrose, Rhona grew up in a musical household influenced by artists like Nick Drake and Joni Mitchell, alongside traditional folk sounds. A classically trained violinist and pianist, she eventually adopted the guitar to express her own songwriting.
