Actor Max Hopp joins General Music Director James Gaffigan for a curated symphony concert at the Schillertheater. Lineup on Mood.
In Ödön von Horváth's play 'Zur schönen Aussicht', it is famously said: 'I am actually quite different, but I only rarely get the chance to show it!' In 2027, before the year is even a day old, actor Max Hopp, who is closely associated with the Komische Oper Berlin, will have exactly that opportunity: to present himself to the audience from a completely different side as the creator of a symphony concert. The program developed by Max Hopp together with General Music Director James Gaffigan remains a well-kept secret for now. However, one thing is certain: Max Hopp will not leave the stage without having performed a song. As Werner Richard Heymann's song 'Hoppla, jetzt komm ich!' goes: 'I want to grab a bite of the big world and experience life the way I like it...'
This symphony concert is hosted at the Komische Oper Berlin's temporary venue, the Schillertheater on Bismarckstraße.
The concert features actor Max Hopp in collaboration with General Music Director James Gaffigan.
Tickets are available through the official Komische Oper Berlin shop. Tickets on Mood.
