An evening at The Airliner featuring three distinctive voices in Los Angeles’ vibrant dance music community: Darone Sassounian, Aaron Paar, and SEEPS. Aaron Paar, founder of Worldship Music and one half of the Teflon Dons, has been at the cutting edge of soul-rooted dance music for decades, drawing from funk, soul, house, disco, and global sounds. SEEPS brings the spirit of New York’s golden era of dance music, blending classic NYC sounds, Boricua rhythms, jazz grooves, and underground cuts. Darone Sassounian brings a forward-looking approach to electronic music through vintage house, disco, jazz, and Middle Eastern funk, drawing from his Armenian and SWANA roots. Three selectors. Three perspectives. One night of deep grooves, soulful sounds, and unexpected musical journeys.
