Soul Of The South: Ruby Rushton x Ebi Soda
An open-air, homegrown nu jazz night.
Ruby Rushton and Ebi Soda unite for a weekly jazz session featuring heavy grooves and fearless improvisation at Freight Brixton. Tickets on Mood.
Cross The Tracks' weekly jazz session brings together two of the UK scene's most exciting bands at London's largest rooftop venue for an evening of heavy grooves and fearless improvisation. Ruby Rushton, the Tenderlonious-led outfit from the 22a label, draw on the spiritual lineage of jazz legends while pushing boundaries with afrobeat, Latin, and hip-hop rhythms. Ebi Soda combine dubbed-out effects, funky basslines, and post-punk grit with smooth melodies and broken rhythms, establishing themselves as a distinct voice in British jazz.
