Maxine Funke is one of New Zealand's celebrated experimental artists, working with voice, guitar, electronics, and field recordings in a liminal space between song, improvisation, and sound art. Clayton Noone is a versatile experimental musician active in improvised music, post-punk, noise, and avant-garde composition, having led projects like The Futurians and CJA. Turner Williams Jr. plays the shahi baaja, an electrified chordophone using typewriter keys to alter string pitches, creating a transcultural and raw improvisational practice. Bis Aufs Messer will host a pop-up shop at the event featuring special releases and merchandise.
