A musical meditation inspired by the work of art historian Jean-Loup Charvet exploring the theme of tears and sorrow. Anchored by John Dowland's Lachrimae, the concert presents variations on the motif of the tear featuring compositions by Dowland, Byrd, Praetorius, Schubert, and Verdelot.
