Baritone James Newby and pianist Joseph Middleton celebrate the creative friendship between Franz Schubert and Johann Michael Vogl. It was Vogl’s 1813 performance in Vienna that first captivated a young Schubert, leading to a collaboration that inspired some of the composer's most legendary songs, including Erlkönig and Ganymed. This programme explores the profound depth and enduring legacy of their artistic partnership through a curated selection of Schubert's Lieder. A limited number of free tickets are available for attendees aged 16–24.
