Catch the American roots and ragtime songwriter live at Islington Assembly Hall for a night of vintage-infused pop. Tickets on Mood.
Pokey LaFarge's musical influence is deeply rooted in the heroes and misfits of yesterday, from country troubadours to the kings of swamp-drenched ragtime and legendary Delta bluesmen. His sound is a melting pot of American cultures, blending Delta-meets-Appalachia songwriting with a powerful beat to create a fresh and quirky kind of pop music. Following the success of the 'Riverboat Soul' album, which ranked highly on Americana and roots charts in both the US and UK, LaFarge continues to showcase his unique style alongside the South City Three.
