Juanita Laló & Friends brings together original Latin American beats such as Cumbia, Salsa, Porro, and Guajira with elements of jazz, funk, and folk. Since 2015, the ensemble has grown to seven professional members from Colombia, Cuba, the USA, Japan, and Germany. Known for music arranged by Juanita Olaya, Peter Schwarzt, and Julian Gretschel, the band has performed on stages ranging from jazz clubs to dance floors far beyond Berlin, moving audiences with both original compositions and select Latin covers.
