Brother Strut: Something's Cookin' Album Launch Party
A danceable, uplifting funk night.
Brother Strut return to Islington Assembly Hall for the launch event of their fifth studio album. Featuring musicians whose combined careers exceed half a billion records sold, the band includes members who have toured and recorded with the likes of Jamiroquai, Stevie Wonder, Amy Winehouse, and Sting. The new album, Something's Cookin', will be released on the day of the show, with CD and Vinyl copies available at the venue. Formed in 2012 by producer and saxophonist Stevie Jones, the group is driven by a passion for funk, blues, and 1960s-70s American soul music.
