Thomas Ankersmit presents »The Tcherepnin Series,« navigating the intricate analog terrain of the Serge Modular synthesizer through the lenses of electroacoustic improvisation and musique concrète. Composer Genoël von Lilienstern collaborates with the contemporary chamber group Zafraan Ensemble to perform »Terroir,« a piece exploring microtonal acoustics, drone textures, and the resonant interaction between physical instruments, performance architecture, and electronic signal processing.
