Ashley Maher and Kaw Secka unite for a Senegambian evening of mbalax and Afrobeat rhythms at The Jago. Tickets on Mood.
An international Senegambian evening bringing together two musical worlds. Canadian-American singer-songwriter Ashley Maher opens with songs from her earlier catalogue before moving into fiery mbalax and Senegambian material, followed by world-pop artist Kaw Secka with the same band carrying the groove forward into pure mbalax, Afrobeat, and Senegambian rhythms.
