Fernanda Silveira hosts a weekly Brazilian choro jam in the front room of Barbès alongside ensemble Regional Samauma and guest performers. A virtuoso cavaquinho player steeped in the traditions of choro and samba, Silveira is a disciple of Luciana Rabello and has collaborated extensively with prominent Brazilian musicians.
