Detroit-formed quartet known for caustic, impressionistic arrangements and political lyricism. Tickets on Mood.
The Detroit post-punk band Protomartyr has been creating music that captures the essence of their home city since their 2012 debut. Known for a style that blends politics with poetry through impressionistic and caustic arrangements, the group—consisting of Joe Casey, Greg Ahee, Alex Leonard, and Scott Davidson—offers an x-rayed view of America through their literal yet oblique vantage point.
