Classic modernism and contemporary music meet intellectual reflection and playful creativity in this program by Tamara Stefanovich. Together with Nenad Lečić, she performs music for two pianos, featuring Claude Debussy’s Jeux and Bernd Alois Zimmermann’s 1964 Monologues, which quote from Debussy’s work. The second part of the evening shifts into improvisation as Stefanovich performs with her avant-garde quartet SDLW. The evening is divided into two parts, beginning with classical piano duo works and transitioning into an improvisational set by the avant-garde quartet SDLW.
