The Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin hosts the 'Soundscapes in the Garden' concert series throughout August 2026. This evening features a collaboration between Dopplereffekt and Space Afrika, framed by the gallery's architectural and natural surroundings. Dopplereffekt brings their signature blend of Afrofuturism, Detroit electro, and calculated alien funk to the stage, utilizing sterile rhythms and icy synth lines to explore themes of biology and physics. They are joined by the Manchester duo Space Afrika, known for their atmospheric, industrial-inspired soundscapes. Their performance features a special DJ set utilizing deep dub basslines, urban field recordings, and dense industrial textures.
