The Honey Lou Bar presents the perfect soundtrack for warm summer evenings at Sommer am THF: Gato-Sapato is a new Berlin-based band that blends traditional and contemporary Brazilian music with a modern Berlin touch. Their repertoire is dedicated to celebrating the contributions of women, with 90% of their setlist consisting of songs performed, interpreted, written, or popularized by female artists. Gato-Sapato delivers an energetic take on Brazilian music, moving beyond traditional Bossa Nova. Featuring Mari Mencarini (vocals), Alex Dubovoy (keyboards), and Pedrinho Cascavel (drums), the group guarantees a night of pure groove and samba.
