Experience Beethoven's Archduke Trio and Second Symphony arrangement performed by Faust, Queyras, and Melnikov. Tickets on Mood.
Beethoven reached the pinnacle of the piano trio with his Archduke Trio, a work requiring perfect balance between piano, violin, and cello. Known for its singing melodies, the piece evokes a sense of tranquility, wisdom, and human warmth. This performance by the Faust-Queyras-Melnikov trio serves as the grand finale to their Beethoven cycle. The program also features a piano trio arrangement of Beethoven's Second Symphony, originally attributed to the author but actually arranged by Ferdinand Ries under Beethoven's supervision.
