The fourth concert of the RUSF Series explores music generated live through code, where the algorithm serves as both instrument and improvisational tool. Roxanne Harris performs a live coding set where sound is created directly from lines of code written in real time. This process makes the creative act visible, turning the stage into an experimental space guided by algorithmic transparency and digital intuition. XIWIRE also utilizes live coding and custom-programmed synthesizers to construct a sonic landscape of hard rhythms and abrasive textures. Their performance bridges rave culture, the internet underground, and noise, maintaining a constant tension between structure and chaos.
