Atlanta-born saxophonist and comedian Kevin Oliver Jr. brings his quartet to Close Up. A Juilliard student and YoungArts Finalist who has performed at Carnegie Hall with NYO Jazz, Oliver combines African-American musical traditions—including gospel, swing, bebop, and R&B—into a creative and distinct modern sound.
