DJ Plead performs a live set featuring tracks from the album Please at Contemporánea Condeduque. Tickets on Mood.
Born in Sydney and based in Melbourne, Jarred Beeler has forged an unmistakable sonic world under the alias DJ Plead. His sound bridges the physical intensity of bass culture with the complex percussion and melodies of his Lebanese heritage. Having attracted international attention with releases on cult labels such as Livity Sound and AD93, putting out percussive and deeply sensual music, in June 2026 he released *Please*, his brand-new album, on the prestigious and unclassifiable Norwegian label Smalltown Supersound. Hailed by music critics as one of the defining works of the year, and regarded as his best album to date, *Please* showcases a more introspective side of Jarred, delivering sinuous downtempo cadences and weightless rhythms, all seasoned with that unmistakable, vibrant essence so characteristic of DJ Plead. At the Soundset Series, DJ Plead will be performing one of his rare live shows. An exceptional opportunity to experience first-hand one of the season’s most free-spirited and evocative musical expressions.
