A performance featuring Haydn’s Symphony No. 44, known as the 'Trauer' or 'Mourning' symphony for its dramatic 'Storm and Stress' qualities and serene slow movement. The program continues with Max Bruch’s lush Romantic First Violin Concerto, performed by returning Swedish violinist Daniel Lozakovich.
