Experience Pergolesi's famous Stabat Mater, a moving 13th-century sequence of Catholic liturgy that captures the Virgin Mary's grief at the foot of the cross. The program also features Baroque masterpieces by Vivaldi and Scarlatti, performed by soprano Nina Spinosi, contralto Marie-Nicole Lemieux, and Ensemble Matheus under the direction of Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
