James Holden & Wacław Zimpel and drift FM present a live collaborative set exploring hypnotic trance rhythms in Hackney. Tickets on Mood.
As part of inklingroom: Festival of New Music from Eastern Europe, long-standing collaborators James Holden and Wacław Zimpel bring their instrumental explorations and hypnotic improvisation to the stage, blending a mutual love for trance-like repetition and improvisation. The night also features the UK premiere of DRIFT FM, a live performance by Pavel Milyakov (Buttechno) and Ugnė Uma that melds Uma’s abstract-pop vocals with Milyakov’s hazy atmospheric electronics.
