Formed in the mid-2010s in Madison, Wisconsin, Slow Pulp features singer and guitarist Emily Massey alongside childhood friends Henry Stoehr, Alex Leeds, and Teddy Mathews. Now based in Chicago, the group has released multiple EPs and two albums, 'Moveys' (2020) and 'Yard' (2023), and is set to release their upcoming album 'Melodie'. Influenced by 1990s alternative rock and 2000s indie wave, the band explores memories and past relationships through power pop euphoria, acoustic ballads, and electric surges.
