Vicente Magalhães Octet is led by the Lisbon-born pianist, composer, and arranger, blending jazz, improvised music, and Portuguese roots. The Diggory Wood Trio features drummer Diggory Wood, pianist Sam Johnson, and double bassist Georgia Johnson, focusing on close listening and interplay. LAANI closes out the night with a late-night DJ session spanning nu-jazz, neo-soul, Afro rhythms, broken beat, and house.
