The Berlin Improvisers Orchestra
An underground free jazz night.
The Berlin Improvisers Orchestra (Ber.I.O.) was established in 2010 by saxophonist Anna Kaluza with guidance from members of the London Improvisers Orchestra. The ensemble creates spontaneous orchestral compositions using hand signals based on the conduction concept of Butch Morris, performing regular concerts at Kühlspot Social Club.
