Dorian Wood presents Canto de Todes, a 70-minute experimental distillation of a 12-hour composition and installation blending chamber classical, folk, and torch songs. The piece, inspired by Violeta Parra, explores music as a vehicle for social transformation while celebrating Wood's Costa Rican-Nicaraguan family heritage. Vocalist, composer, producer, and improviser Roco Córdova also performs, bringing experimental sound rooted in their background at the Puerto Rico Conservatory of Music and Mills College.
