Mahan Esfahani, a dedicated champion of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s music, joins Aapo Häkkinen and the period-instrument players of the Helsinki Baroque Orchestra. The programme highlights Emanuel Bach’s spirit and originality, featuring the dazzling Double Concerto for harpsichord and fortepiano alongside the dramatic ‘storm and stress’ of the Harpsichord Concerto in E minor.
