Clémence de Tournemire pays tribute to the legendary Nina Simone at Sunside, revisiting the singer's greatest hits with sensitivity and precision. Her performance highlights the melodic richness, rhythmic power, and raw emotion of Nina Simone's repertoire. The audience will rediscover major pieces such as the haunting ballad “Plain Gold Ring”, the gospel anthem “I Wish I Knew How It Would Feel to Be Free”, the jazz standard “Love Me or Leave Me”, and the timeless “Sinnerman”. This concert is part of the preparation for a Nina Simone tribute album scheduled for release in autumn 2026.
