Former black midi bassist Cameron Picton brings his new project, My New Band Believe, to KOKO in support of their acclaimed debut album. Shifting from frenetic noise-punk toward intricate acoustic arrangements, expansive strings, and knotty, maximalist songwriting, the project brings together an accomplished cast of players to realize Picton's singular musical vision.
