Afro Tech-Events diese Woche in Athen

Afro Tech is a subgenre of electronic dance music that fuses the rhythmic and melodic sensibilities of African music with the driving, often minimalist structures of techno and deep house. Originating primarily from South Africa, it is characterized by its hypnotic, percussive grooves, often incorporating traditional African instrumentation, indigenous vocal samples, and a deep, atmospheric sound design. The tempo typically ranges from 120-130 BPM, creating a sophisticated yet energetic dancefloor experience that balances raw, organic elements with polished electronic production, distinct from more vocal-driven Afro House.
