Gufeng-Events diese Woche in Berlin

Gufeng is a contemporary Chinese music genre that emerged in the early 2000s from internet subcultures and the ACG community. It blends traditional Chinese instrumentation, such as the guqin, pipa, and dizi, with modern pop production and orchestral arrangements to create an elegant, nostalgic atmosphere. The rhythm is typically slow to moderate, reflecting the lyrical structure of classical Chinese poetry, while the mood remains ethereal and culturally evocative. As a modern derivative of C-pop, Gufeng maintains a distinct semantic focus on historical themes and ancient aesthetics, bridging the gap between traditional folk heritage and current digital-era pop music through sophisticated, poetic compositions that emphasize lyrical beauty and melodic grace.
