Jazz House-Events diesen Monat in Berlin

Emerging in the late 1980s and early 1990s, jazz house is a sophisticated subgenre of house music that integrates the improvisational spirit and harmonic complexity of jazz with the steady four-on-the-floor beat of electronic dance music. It typically features a blend of digital drum machines and synthesizers alongside organic elements like live-recorded saxophone solos, upright bass loops, and sampled electric piano chords. The tempo usually falls between 120 and 126 BPM, providing a swinging, syncopated groove that evokes a soulful and laid-back atmosphere suitable for both late-night clubbing and lounge listening. As a fusion genre, it bridges the gap between deep house and acid jazz, emphasizing musicality over raw aggression.
