Texas Blues-Konzerte und Live-Shows in Budapest

Texas blues is a regional subgenre of blues that originated in the early 20th century among African American laborers in the oil fields and ranches of Texas. It is distinguished by its heavy use of the shuffle rhythm and a relaxed, swing-influenced feel that sets it apart from the more rigid structures of Delta blues. While early pioneers like Blind Lemon Jefferson utilized solo acoustic guitar, the genre evolved to emphasize virtuosic electric guitar solos accompanied by bass, drums, and occasionally horns or piano. This style often balances a soulful, laid-back mood with explosive energy, serving as a critical bridge between traditional country blues and modern blues-rock.
