Jazz Fusion-Events diesen Monat in London

Jazz fusion emerged in the late 1960s as a sophisticated synthesis of jazz improvisation and harmony with the high-energy rhythms and electronic instrumentation of rock and funk. Typically featuring electric guitars, synthesizers, and intricate drumming, the genre is characterized by technical virtuosity, complex time signatures, and extended improvisational sections. The mood is often intense and exploratory, reflecting a transition from traditional acoustic jazz to a more amplified, contemporary sound. While it maintains the harmonic depth of post-bop, its heavy reliance on groove and distortion bridges the gap between avant-garde jazz and progressive rock.
