Microhouse-Events in Madrid

Originating in the late 1990s from the minimalist electronic scenes of Germany and Canada, microhouse is a refined subgenre of house music characterized by its emphasis on short-duration samples, clicks, and glitches. Its instrumentation typically blends digital sound design with traditional 4/4 house structures, often stripping away melodic flourishes in favor of intricate, repetitive rhythmic textures and subtle basslines. The tempo generally sits between 120 and 130 BPM, providing a hypnotic, understated groove that bridges the gap between the functional danceability of tech house and the cerebral experimentation of glitch music. This genre is defined by a cool, clinical mood that prioritizes microscopic sonic details over grand harmonic gestures.
