Pornogrind-Events in Vilnius

Pornogrind is an extreme subgenre of grindcore and goregrind that surfaced in the late 1980s, pioneered by acts such as Meat Shits and Gut. The genre is characterized by heavily distorted, downtuned guitars and distinct pitch-shifted vocals that produce animalistic squeals, guttural gurgles, or snorting textures. Song structures frequently oscillate between chaotic high-speed blast beats and mid-tempo, syncopated grooves that borrow heavily from slam death metal aesthetics. It is defined primarily by its provocative lyrical content and shock-oriented imagery, which centers on hyper-sexualized and transgressive themes to intentionally alienate mainstream sensibilities.
