So harrowing. I was honored to see this at Tribeca, and the entire theatre was bawling (me included). A very heavy yet poignant short, and a very strong insight into the horrors of history that I admittedly didn’t know much about prior to this film. (Really really adored the use of color in the last scene as well!!!)
The film depicts the harrowing experience of a newborn girl and her family on April 17th, 1975, the day the Khmer Rouge forces entered Phnom Penh.
